Meet our founder
Pamela
Schumacher
CEO & Owner
Pamela brings a background in teaching, choreography, and professional performance to Legacy Dance. She earned a B.A. in Dance from the University of Akron, with an emphasis on teaching.
Her experience includes performing and coaching with the University of Akron Dance Team, professional cheerleading with the Cleveland Thunderbolts, and performances at Six Flags and Carousel Dinner Theatre.
More about Pamela
Before Legacy, Pamela owned a dance studio in Ohio, where her students earned top awards at local and national competitions. Her students have gone on to become professional dancers, teachers, and studio owners, including performing with artists such as Shakira.
Pamela also built an extensive career as a Las Vegas showgirl, performing on the Strip in iconic productions including Jubilee, Folies Bergere, and Show in the Sky. That experience shaped the precision, professionalism, stage presence, and respect for the ensemble that she brings into the studio and passes on to every dancer.
She has served as a competition judge and choreographed for competitions, musicals, universities, dance teams, and an NFL national commercial. She was featured in the PBS documentary The Showgirl: A Vegas Icon and appeared in The Killers' music video for The Man.
For Pamela, Legacy is a place where strong training and the joy of performing belong together. She and her husband, Matt, have three sons: Cayden, Kyler, and Jameson.

Teacher
Eleni Torolopoulos
Eleni began training at age 10 in Northern Idaho, exploring ballet, ballroom, and contemporary dance.
More about Eleni
Her competitive dance experience led to a scholarship to train in Los Angeles and a finalist placement at ARTS International in 2019.
She went on to study dance at UNLV, performing in major productions and international collaborations. In 2024, she joined Elemental Dance Company in Las Vegas.
